I don't think you can use both interfaces together, through firewire I mean,
unless you got 2 separate firewire buses/cards installed on your system;
they'll (the interfaces) each want as much bandwidth as they can get.
Also, remember if you're using asio that asio can only work with one device
at a time, so no mixing and matching i/o from both cards in asio mode!

I have a Saffire 24 that works with firewire, but my FW1884 is also firewire
and I'm not sure how they will work together. Anyone using the FW along with
the saffire 24? Oh didn't know that there were hotspots for it. That's
really good to know since I was very disappointed that the user interface is
not accessible.

Use a Pro 40 here and it's very nice. The HSC sets Phil and I pput together
seem to offer good control, but the routing options are so comprehensive
that it can be confusing until you get into it.
