Ok. Any advice on a mixer? I don't need anything fancy. I can
get good stuff later. I just wanna get off the ground.

Hi dave:If that is
Are you planning to use SOnar with it for multitrack recording?
the case, and you want to monitor through effects in realtime, you would be
better off with the pcmcia card because the usb bus is not asrobust,
especially because most usb audio interfaces are still usingusb1.1. In
either case, you'll need a mixer or mic preamp if you plan torecord live
vocals. The echo indigo i/o pcmcia card works quite well. Gord ----- Original Message ----- From: "dave wilkinson" <davewilkinson@xxxxxxxxxxxxx To: <ddots-l@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Sent: Tuesday, March 14, 2006 10:23 PM Subject: [ddots-l] dvice on External Sound Card
orI want to purchase an external sound card. Should I go PCMCIA
USB? any advantages to either approach would be appreciated.
