Hi,

For what i am understanding, you also need to use the audio snap on that new
vocal recording!

I tried that. What I did was, I slowed down the audio that I would sing with,
putting it on half speed, with Audio Snap. Then I recorded the vocal on a new
track, I sang it slowly. Now what's going on is, I try to speed it up, but
while the rest of the audio goes back to the original tempo, my vocal track
still stays on half speed. The original tempo was 135.00, half speed is 67.50.

  Hi,

Record a audio (vocal) track. If exists more than one clip, bounce to clip.

Select the audio track and open the Audio Snap with Shift A.

  Tab and enable it.
usually i also enable the transients so that i can enter the tempo box and
choose the project tempo.
also enable the one to folow the project tempo and close the audio snap.

Control t to chage the tempo and should speed it up!

That's what i'm doing here and works well.

  regards,
  Rui Vilarinho

Now when I enable the follow project tempo, it works. But then when I
record a vocal part at half speed, and then speed it back up, the vocal
recording still stays at half speed. What's up with that? Am I forgetting
something?

      Hi Annabelle,

Happen to me in the past. Dont know why, but sometimes that problem
appears on the Audio Snap.

      Some ideas:
      - Check With Shift right or left arrows middle keys if you have the
track view define to custom cake talking view.

Do the folowing, Alt enter to select all track. Shift A to open audio
snap and disable it if it's enable. Then use the Audio Snap to the track you
want again.
I suppose that you could have more than one track open with the Audio
Snap, though if you have more than one audio track could be this the problem?!
dont knoe!

And, sometimes you cant enable the buttons on the audio snap at the first
enter, but if you click enter several times it will enable them. At least
works around here!

Just by curiosity, wich jaws version are you using?

      regards,
      Rui Vilarinho

Now I can't enable Audio Snap. When I press enter on the button, it
still says "Disabled". It seems rather strange. Same thing with any of the
buttons with an Enable/Disable state. When I press enter on any of the buttons
that are supposed to open menus within the dialogue, nothing happens! Have I
forgotten something? Or have I just gone slightly mad?

        Heya,

I had that same issue not long ago. To fix, make sure your windows
theme is on classic. I thought I could get away without changing it but I had
to in order for the audiosnap dialogue to work. You can find more in the setup
tutorials for CT, if I'm not mistaken. HTH!

        Most Sincerely,

        Bobbi

Now that I've reinstalled Caketalking, it works. However, there's
another problem I'm having. When I'm in the Audio Snap Dialogue, I press F6 to
make sure that the dialogue is focused on, but then when I go to navigate in
the controls and settings, JAWS always reports the following: "Audio Snap is
open, but not focused". I re-focus it by pressing F6 like JAWS tells me to do,
but then I get that same message again. How do I fix that?

          Hi, it's Annabelle.
Does anyone know how to explain this strange error I've recently been
having? When I press F5 within Sonar to announce the current position, rather
than say something like, Bar 2, Beat 1, or 59 minutes, 26 seconds, two frames,
it says: Bar 0, Beat 0, or it will say, 0 Minutes, Seconds and frames. Does
anybody know of an easy solution to fix this error? I know I have the latest
updates of both Sonar 8.5 and Caketalking.
