Christopher. Do you have CT installed? If so, you may wish to try
uninstalling CT first then, try relaunching Sonar. Then, reinstall CT after
a successful Sonar launch.

Subject: [ddots-l] Sonar will not launch

I am experiencing the strangest problem with sonar which results in it not
loading. I have a pc with sonar 7 and although it worked yesterday, today
when I launched it, it came up with a message "A Controller/Surface DLL is
not installed" and the message will not disappear. Enter, Escape do not make
it disappear, so I basically have to reboot. I have tried to do the control
alt delete and force sonar to quit but that does not work either. My next
idea was to install sonar 8.5 on the same pc. I did that and the same
message came up. Does anyone have any ideas on this?
Thanks,Christopher
