I haven't heard of that before, and i doubt you'll be able to use your sonar 5 number with sonar 6. When I purchased my sonar 5 from dancing dots, it came with sonar 6, and with 2 separate serial numbers.

Before I contact Cakewalk, I thought I would ask if anybody else has had this happen.I just went to install my upgrade to Sonar 6 Producer, and there is no serial number on the sticker inside the case. It says serial number, then nothing.
