I ran across this when browsing the Sibelius Help chat page. Apparently if you use text in your score that closely matches an instrument name or a repeat string, Sibelius will respond to that when in playback. For example I used the letter "D" as a custom rehearsal mark and in playback my music went back to the beginning (just like a D.C. al...). I had to skip the letter "D" for playback purposes. Of course for printing a score there is no need to worry about any of these concerns. Below is a link to a thread of messages that deal with the same issue, but in this case affecting the instrument being heard during playback.
