Well, I have everything running into the mixer.  I can then route hardware 
wherever I like.  I have
the main outputs of my MOTU 2408 going into the mixer.  I also have a Sound 
Blaster Live Platinum
that I use for Jaws going through the mixer and the vocal mike plugged into the 
mixer.So Damon, how
do you route everything so that you can here your vocal mike?  Is it possible 
to run two completely
separate mixes with the way you have things set-up?  I am always open to doing 
things in a new way.
