Actually you can set Winamp to play 24-bit, if you set that in preferences.

I prefer Winamp to WMP for many reasons, that being one.

I'm pretty sure Windows Media Player cannot play 24-bit audio. If
you must use that program, make sure you dither and convert down to
16-bit wave when you export from Sonar.

Or, try Winamp, Foobar2000 or some other media player that handles
many more file types and parameters.
