Hi Shannon,
I am running Office 365 as well on Windows 10. I’m at the most current version.
At least that is what it ells me, no updates available. Anyway, my navigating
does not work in anything close to what you outlined. When I do any of those
things, I go back to the lit of messages.
I was wrong about the Revue, it of course says “View”, but I just went through
every option I could find anywhere within the View tab. To get to them I have
to press the down arrow to get to the lower ribbon. Nowhere in any of those
settings, options, etc. do I see anything about the focused or Other inbox.
Seems to me I remember calling Microsoft about this when I couldn’t find it one
time before, and that is when they told me it wasn’t there. Perhaps they said
it wasn’t there anymore? Maybe you are on an earlier version.
Or, more probably, I am living in the Twilight Zone… I hope so, because I
really would like to have that function on the desktop as well as my phone.
I tried to copy the version number and so on from the My Acct/About of this
copy of 365 I’m using but it would not allow me to copy it. It does say that
there are no updates available and that I am up to date, but the stupid thing
is that it also says that this version was last updated November of 2018…
So, I just called my friend CathyAnn an accessibility trainer, and she checked
her version… it is exactly the same as mine, and she thinks she is on the
latest version as well. So, I went further and we talked about the
Focused/Other inbox thing on our phone, which we both use often. She looked for
it in her Outlook on the desktop and it wasn’t there either…
So, can you tell me what version you are running?
Thanks
John

I’m running office 365. So when in Outlook, I press ALT and then arrow to the
right to “View” then Press spacebar and then arrow down once and arrow to the
right until you find Focussed inbox and then press spacebar or enter on it to
enable/disable it. I’m using the PC for this so I’m not sure how the iPhone
app is laid out. I use Android and don’t use any of the Microsoft apps on my
phone or iPad.

Shannon,
Thanks, you just helped me out. I actually called Microsoft to ask why there
was no Other and Focused on the Outlook for Windows 10, they said they did not
know, but there just wasn’t. ☹
I will look for this View tab you mention.
At first look, all I see is a Revue tab on my desktop version.
Are you talking about 365 or another version of Outlook?
Thanks

Go to the View tab in Outlook. Then uncheck the box that says “focussed Inbox”
Then you’ll be back to just one.

Hello, guys, I tabbed and found a button that said “other inbox”, pressed
Enter, and there you guys are! I see a huge list of names and emails that
haven’t been appearing in my inbox I always use. It will take me a while to
sift through all of these. Sorry if I confused anybody; I stay confused. Now
to figure out why I have two inboxes. smile
