Maybe I can help with this.
I use an Iphone 10 and Outlook on it.
It is the greatest program and mainly because of the to inbox idea. The
main inbox is tied directly to your email and anything you send out which is
responded to appears in that main inbox. It is called the Focused Inbox.
You can choose the Other inbox with the buttons you found at the top of the
screen. It holds all emails written to you from listservs, and others which
come from mass mailings and corporations, organizations. I wish I knew what
the actual algorithm used is to do this. It is very nifty and very useful to
me. The important stuff is in your Focused inbox, and other stuff is in
your Other mailbox. It's silly to say this is not as important, because it
can be from your bank, your employer, etc. It is just segregated so you can
handle things like this list a little more easily without setting up actual
rules to have this type of mail go into a special folder.
You will get used to the Focused and Other thing pretty quickly.
IUf you finish reading all the mail in your Focused inbox, another button
appears which asks, View the messages in your Other mailbox? And tapping
it takes you there. It is extra and only shows up when there is nothing left
in the Focused box. Otherwise you have to go to the top of the screen to
choose between the two boxes.
I wish they had this feature in the Outlook 365 on the Windows 10 desktop,
but no joy there. It only seems to be on the Iphone.

other than an Iphone, please tell me. I could be wrong about this.

Hello, guys, I tabbed and found a button that said "other inbox", pressed
Enter, and there you guys are! I see a huge list of names and emails that
haven't been appearing in my inbox I always use. It will take me a while
to sift through all of these. Sorry if I confused anybody; I stay confused.
Now to figure out why I have two inboxes. smile
