Yes that was going to be my next question re CD Architect.
So now I have to find a burning program that would work.

Yup! It happens to me quite a bit too.
When this happens, I run NVDA and make sure I'm in the Jaws crash window and hit Alt C and then hit my Jaws shortcut key to restart it. This never happened on my Pantium 4 machine but happens very often on my Core 2 Duo machine. By the way, Same thing happens with CD Architect which is also a Sony software.

Has any one experience Jaws crashing when burning a CD from within Sound
forge?

I am using Jaws 8, Sound Forge 9 on my new ADK system.
