Ok, I tried installing CT today on a system with JFW 7.1 as the sole instance of Jaws on the system. I failed. The installer asked me to point out where the executable and the DEFAULT.JSS file lived, but even when I successfully did that, I still got a message stating that I had no appropriate version of JFW on the system. I did get a message asking me to hit OK for more options, but this simply dropped me out of the installer.

Now, I have JFW 6.0 and could install it, but before I do that, are there any other work-arounds? I wasn't ever given the option to choose an unsupported Jaws, though I suspect the gallivanting around my hard drive to show it where JFW and the JSS file were was in support of that option.

If not, is it possible to install JFW onto a separate profile from JFW 7.1? Can I also have different display settings for that profile and disable all the network and antivirus stuff as well? If so, this would likely be the best alternative. Well, OK, the best alternative would be if I could upgrade, but I'd also have to upgrade Sonar, and I suspect the combined upgrade is too rich for my currently under-employed blood.
