64bit platforms can (as of now) hold upto 48gb of ram, only limitted by
hardware, however it can really reach a way higher number.
Most computers sold today are running 64 bit, with memory ranging between 4
to 24gb of ram.

Is this a windows system with 16gb ram? I've never heard of such a machine
before. Usually the specs on the memory are just 4gb of ram. Where can i
