Hi, Dani,

You might want to experiment with SONAR's Dim Solo feature. It only applies
to audio tracks but you could bounce your MIDI tracks to audio, I suppose.

See Lesson 5 in the CakeTalking 8.8 tutorial or, if you have an earlier
version of CakeTalking, search the main tutorial for the term:
Dim solo

Subject: [ddots-l] Isolating Parts in Imported MIDI File

Hi, Everyone.
I wrote a piece out and arranged it for four females. I need to make files
where the individual's respective melody or harmony line plays in one ear
and the other vocal parts play in the other ear to facilitate part learning.

I tried increasing the MIDI volume for one of the parts to 127 and panning
it all the way to the left. That didn't seem to make much of a chang. Any
suggestions?

Thanks,
Dani
