I’m convinced it is not outlook’s problem or any system, it has to be the list
serve; but I’ve only ever had that problem on this list. Granted most other
lists I’m on use groups.io but still, if you can see 1 message and not another,
and both are written from the same client using the same system using the same
format etc. The problem is obviously elsewhere…
Think we’ve got our answer here…
Maybe this list only allows for text only and outlook is sending HTML, or maybe
the way some messages are presented to the freelists system is tripping
something up, could be mime types or even encoding problems, if part of the
message is encoded in UTF-8 and someone else’s client reencodes it in UTF16 or
plane ASCII etc…
Anyways, this is a music list and not a tech list, so before we get chopped for
being off list, let us agree to drop the thing; I’m sure there are some people
out there who will want to strangle us when they check their inbox and all
these back and forth tests add up to over 100 new messages in their box lol…
This would be especially amusing if they can actually read all of them and will
therefore not even get why we’re testing and making such a big deal of it
hahaha.

How should I do it if I want to start a new conversation subject, what should I

From these replies, it looks like the client or something is completely cutting
off the message. Why do I say that? Because if I literally sent a blank message
to the list, the footer with the list instructions which is appended to the end
of each message would still show…
