Trying again... I made two changes: I switched to plain text and I turned off
style sheets (which don't apply to plain text messages anyway. I'm using
Outlook, did I mention that?
OK, I've pasted my previous msg below, let me know, you blank-message
recipients, if you can see it.

Hi, John et al
I'll try two things, see if you can read DJX's message. First, I'm replying to
it, so look down the way and see if it's there in this case (it wasn't when
John replied to it). And, I'm pasting it here, so see if you can read it right
here:

John, I have seen outlook display this behavior, it has to do with how you set
things up and certain servers; it will sometimes attach a copy of the message
it displays as an HTML file. This happens when certain mime types or only text
messages are allowed.
However, outlook would still display the message as text if possible, and
include the full message as an attachment.

No, Outlook certainly does NOT work that way. If it did, I would agree with
you... not silly thought... that would be really ridiculous.
I don't know what gave you that impression, but on the whole Outlookcovers ost
of the mail client features one might need. It does for me anyway.
No problem, everyone wants to drop this since it sounds like it has wasted lots
of time before this.
However, I don't see what would be different about one person's messages that
the body is seemingly stripped from the email... when everyone else's come
through fine. It may not be Outlook, but the listserv... although it seems like
this has been determined also.
However, Outlook has been around for many decades, and the version I am using
right now is completely new and not even writtenby the same MS team that wrote
earlier versions, so my thought leans toward something else causing the problem.
See, it just generated that extra bunch of words, and that's just more wasted
time. 😊
I'm deropping this thread as requested.

Not sure, I don't use outlook anymore, but I remember it used to send
everything as an attachment. When you open the attachment, you get another
message window with the message in it. Kind of silly if you ask me, but then
again, outlook is rather silly!

Okay, I’m just asking… and I know it must be something I’m doing wrong… but
this message that I am replying to is from DJX and it appears to be
completely empty.
This is the 4th message he has sent that I can’t read… meaning I don’t hear
anything in the body. Am I missing something?
