Hay Darren!!

Long time no see. I remember you from Hereford. Played guitar and sang
backing vocals on some material that you were recording with Paul Leeshman.
Good to hear that your taking the plunge into Sonar.

  Subject: [ddots-l] Intruducing myself

  Hi all

I just thought I'd do the decent thing and introduce myself as I've just
joined.

I'm Darren Hartland, based in the UK and have just started recording again
after a very long break, around 13 years.

For the last 10 years I've been a professional DJ, but I'm now thoroughly fed
up with the late nights and lugging sound systems around.

I work as a technical consultant for SiteSell Inc, a Canadian company that
deal with web based applications that assist companies and individuals to start
their own Internet based businesses.

So, as far as computers go, I know my way around, but I've forgotten a heck
of a lot about Midi and I know next to nothing about recording with packages
like Sonar and Cubase.

I'm currently using Cubase v2.2, but will be moving over to Sonar 7 as soon
as possible.

I'll leave my initial questions for another e-mail.

Thanks for reading and hope to be able to help out when I know what I'm doing.

  Cheers
  Darren H
