I just picked up a MOTU Ultra Light. If you want more inputs and high-quality
audio, you could look into a MOTU 828 MK 3.

Subject: [ddots-l] External Sound Card recommendations please

  Hi folks

OK, it's now time for me to move to a dedicated sound card for my recordings

as my internal one just isn't cutting the mustard and makes a heck of a lot
  of noise.

So, I need something that will take a mic through XLR jacks, my Tyros
through regular quarter inch jacks and eventually I'll need to plug bass and

  guitars in too.

I want to avoid using a mixer as space is at a premium right now, so a sound

card that will let me plug it all in would be the most appropriate.

Any recommendations and recommended dealers would be most welcome.

  Many thanks
  Darren
