The arithmetic for the version numbers probably goes back to the transition from cakewalk Pro Audio 9 to SONAR 1 through 8.5. So 9 plus 8.5 equals 17.5? I was talking with David Pinto last month who reported the version problem. Either cakewalk has fixed it or I misunderstood the problem. Actually, it might have been that the version of the actual SONAR executable file was the problem. But I have just checked mine and it says the version is 17.5.2.222. Phew!
