Hi,

The guy I'm helping out with Caketalking has the M-Audio USB device for MIDI input and a small pre-amp plugged into that for audio recording.

I did a test recording with the system today after installing a firewire drive and captured the audio ok. When I restarted, however, jaws wasn't making any sound. I went into XP's control panel and saw that the audio playback got switched to the m audio device although I hadn't made that change.

What is the necessary set up so that JAWS uses the computer's soundcard and speakers to talk and the m audio can output the music content?
