interface, and not USB like DJX mentioned.

based interfaces, not USB. They will only work on win 8.1 and above. USB
models might come out later, much like focusrite did with the safire line,
but last i checked the clarett lineup were all thunderbolt. And they weren't

drivers to work with tb3.
But for now, many manufacturers are sticking to, andrecommending thunderbolt

The claret is a newer interface and it's USB only. The newer interfaces do
not work with the HSC sets but the older firewire Saffire Pro range and
Liquid 56 do. Also the older Saffire interfaces are thunderbolt compatible
so they will go on for years to come. I have asked Focusrite to implement
Open Sound Control and it will be interesting to see if they do that.
