Big strong advocacy groups need to join together and keep persisting
communicating with ndis / ndia to see what services people with disabilities
need. Especially deafblindness issues.
People with disabilities should have their rights heard under the equal
opportunity laws and disability laws and united convention of disability rights
(laws) and have their own choices and services being provided 100 percent and
changing the attitudes and culture of their environment and Service providers
and staff be removed from power of abuse or inappropriate behaviours from
organisations.

Another woman, who asked not to be identified, said her son had been an early
NDIS success story, living independently in his own unit. But when his plan was
slashed by 80 per cent, she said it came without explanation and the family was
left "devastated".
