Seemingly it does both US and UK English as well as many other languages. Quite possibly it is the thing spun out of Open Office to which Steffen referred - I'd previously only looked at the top of the Github page; I did not realise what a comprehensive project it is.

I imagine one snag is that you end up writing in someone else's style - unless there is some randomness/learning built in.

Secondary modern kids like me missed the grammar.

So do most Grammar School students today (Kent and Medway still have an almost totally selective system). Even Ministers who went to Eton make mistakes in grammar.
