These 'other applications' that print fine, are they printing similar things. It's no good comparing many megabytes from OP with a handful of bytes from Edit.
Although the way Uniprint works the comparison is not simple. But say you printed 100 pages from OP and 1 page from Draw, the OP job would have considerably more scope to find a network problem.
