Without wanting to go thoroughly off topic I note that Word documents, containing tables, when loaded into !EasiWriter don't appear to render properly and, for some reason not clear to me, become un-editable. > It solved the problem quickly for CC and adding tables to Impression > would not have been easy. > Built in tables could do things tablemate can't, but I don't think I am > about to do them. I was just about to say something similar. !TableMate is a very capable application, no doubt. But it doesn't allow all the typesetting capability of !OvatPro if that aspect is a critical issue in a project, which was something that I was alluding to previously. So it does need to be used with care if files are loaded into !OvatPro. However, just musing out loud, I wonder if !TableMate would be unduly difficult to convert into an Applet, perhaps.
