Hi,
Having just put in a useful error message for Clive's problem above, it
reminded me that I uploaded a new version of OPW last week.
It says in the changes file:
"Maximum word length in dictionaries increased to 63 characters - note
that if you create dictionaries with words greater than the previous
limit of 31 characters and then transfer the binary (*.dic) file to an
older copy of the program a crash will result. One way of achieving this
would be to install an old copy of the program over a new one.
The option to warn if fonts are missing from pictures had no effect. If
it is turned on it will now work."
The main motivation for increasing the spell check length was the Dutch
hyphenation dictionary from last year, where some words were getting
truncated.
