Is there any chance of changing the code so that it checks that the window position of any OP window lies within the screen area? Perhaps this could happen when the app starts, or be made an option in a menu so that one could at any time bring all windows back to the centre of the visible area? Or is it impossible (especially with apps like !MoreDesk) to tell what the visible screen area actually is? I know that with Windows there's often a problem if I run an app on my multi-screen setup and something saves the fact that it's on one of the outer screens, then the same saved config is used when I run the app on a laptop... (I share lots of config files between machines.) It means I have to try to get into the habit of bringing far-flung windows to the central one before shutting apps down. I also don't always turn on the screens on and sometimes wonder why starting some app seems not to have done anything and then remember, turn the outside ones on, and find an app window all by itself in the outer darkness... -- Jeremy C B Nicoll - my opinions are my own To unsubscribe or subscribe goto: //www.freelists.org/list/davidpilling
