Yes of course, now done, but why did it want a re-register?

Problem is bigger than first thought.

I don't think so. AFAICS.
Where is Ovation Pro supposed to Save the default document? I thought
it was in Users\Myprofilename\AppData\Roaming
I don't have Win in front of me I may have more to say when I do. The
above looks plausible.
On this machine, my tests show that is where it resides.
The full path is...
C:\Users\MyProfilename\AppData\Roaming\DavidPilling\OvationPro\Default.dps
If I go there and manually modify the Default, when I click on the OvPro
App icon it starts up with that file as modified.
But if I make mods to the file in OvPro and then Save as default, while it
appears to do the action, the file is not written to the above noted place.
Nor anywhere else I can find.
Additional Problem:
If I double click the Default file in C:\Users... It opens and run
correctly, in that when my text gets to the bottom of the page it auto
creates a new page and my writing flows into that, and so on page after
page.
However if I run OvPro from the OvPro.exe (Or shortcut) the default
displayed, though the same Default as the previously double clicked in
C:\Users... now will not progress past the first page, displaying the
overflow arrow at the bottom of that page.
Worth noting, this applies to any default document I use in testing.
Run From within C:\Users... pages are auto created as the text advances.
Run from OvPro.exe (Or shortcut) and no auto pages created as text
progresses.
The same pages run from Menubar> File> Stationery correctly, including the
original Default.dps

I will not be joining you with Win 1803, because 1709 had half a dozen
failed attempts at installing before I opted out.
I feel for you. :-)
After an update at the beginning of Feb 2018 it turned my computer with a
boot time of 30 seconds into a slug with a boot time of 5.5 minutes.
Tried a number of suggestions offered by the supplier of my computers, but
in the end the only solution was a Repair Reinstall and all the
aggravation that entails.
Worked a treat and the boot time was back to under 30 seconds... But
really a six month old computer needing an OS reinstall because of an
update... Really!
