Hi,

In message <50462041aatheboss@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>, Robert Greenfield <theboss@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx> writes
I have an OvPro (RISC OS) document which is able to create 2 nasty errors
in succession:
Attempting to save causes OvPro to fail with a Type=5 error.
This then leads to an evil 'Filecore in use' error and the desktop starts
to fail in a chain.

The good news - saving as a ddl format has purged the file so I'm OK, but
is the original file of any interest for bugfixing etc.?

It's not really of any interest. A repeatable set of steps that lead to the problem would be of great interest.

The problem with a broken file is that investigating takes a lot of time, and usually one ends up saying "ah yes this is a broken file" but with no idea as to what went wrong.
