DART has a launch scheduled for Sunday, November 13, 8 AM to noon. The
weather forecast for Sunday looks pretty good. Partly sunny, a bit cool
(temperatures in the high 50's and low 60's), and modest wind (5 MPH at 9
AM, 6 MPH at noon).
We will have a launch procedure briefing at 8:05 AM for new fliers.
Remember that rocket flights must be lower than our altitude ceiling of
1,000 ft. Be sure to choose your recovery device (streamer or parachute)
size such that your rocket will recover within the boundary of the field.
This is especially important in breezy conditions. Most small sport models
should use streamers.
