I pulled down a Kubuntu 12.04 64bit ISO

You can hear it for most of the rest of tonight till I need the laptop back... 
no tweaks to audio or anything. Running on Live DVD on 802.11b for network.

Shouldn't matter really what *buntu you use, they all start with the same base
