After invading The Bolsh.oi Theatre in Moscow (March 2002), La S.cala in Milan (November 2004) and The National Theatre in Belgrade (October 2005), Stromajer and Zorman will perform a new guerrilla net ballet -- on July 9th 2006, this time in the men's toilet in the basement of the Volks.bühne Berlin. Internet broadcast of the net ballet performance will start on July 9th 2006 at 9 PM GMT+1 and will last 17 minutes (+/- 6 minutes). Watch and listen live to internet people's guerrilla ballet at http://www.intima.org/bi/vnb Artists will use low-tech mobile and wireless equipment for the invasion and live broadcast: a semi-automatic flying toy-cow with wireless spy-camera, 11 toy-robots (one of them with infra-red sensors), two laptops, one MiniDV camera, MP3 audio systems, a video mixing device, etc and a public unprotected wireless internet connection point (wLAN), available for free at the Rosa-Luxemburg Square in Berlin (signal strength in the basement of Volks.bühne: 2/5) and free RealProducer (version 11.0) and Live LE software for streaming video and audio live manipulation. Ballettikka Internettikka: VolksNetBallet will happen on the very same evening and at the very same time as another huge people's festivity -- the final match of the World Soccer Cup 2006, which also takes place in Germany. Note: Volks.bühne Berlin does not voluntarily co-operate in the project, but was selected based on the conceptual strategy of the project. The management of the Volks.bühne Berlin is not a co- producer of this project and does not co-operate in the process of its realization.
