OK, ran one more test, using the public IP of the server:

sh-3.2# telnet 216.218.227.130 125

220 mail.enigmedia.com running EIMS X 3.3.9

So, it looks like I can connect to EIMS, but EIMS is not listening on
127.0.0.1...
