A Brexit deal seems further away than ever, which is what makes it more
interesting. Everything from leaving the customs union, to the affect
on national governments within the UK,, to establishing a border in
Northern Ireland, to free movement of capital and labour issues. With a
Conservative majority in parliament only upheld by a massive bribe of £2
million to the Democratic Unionist Party in Northern Ireland holding it
all together.
Mass immigration to the EU as a result of US/NATO and EU interference
and slaughter in the Middle East, Syria and Libya is causing chaos
amongst the political parties, mainly amongst the most powerful states,
mainly Germany, led by Angela Merkel. In the UK the increase in the
population has suffered the lowest rate of increase in 10 years, mainly,
it is thought, due to immigrants not coming here to work now, because of
the uncertainty. Valuable jobs are unfilled, affecting production in
agriculture and service industries. The Brits are above those sorts of
jobs. The UK pound is at its lowest against other main currencies for
many years, mainly due to the uncertainty of what the terms will be for
the UK leaving Europe. Employment is up though, due to workers on zero
contract jobs, working for peanuts for the likes of Amazon.
The Brexiteers amongst the British people have been pretty consistent in
their opposition since the referendum, they have held their own,
according to the opinion polls, whilst the doomsday scenarios and the
agents of them continue to multiply. Where will the UK be without
membership of the European Union, it is like the end of the world. For
over 2000 years the British isles have never belonged to a foreign
government, the Romans excepted. The government and Mrs. May are well
and truly stuck, with little room for manoeuvre, and the EU negotiators,
who thought that they might bring the UK to heel are starting to suffer
from their own problems, economic, financial, social and cultural. The
longer that nothing is negotiated, then the more chance is that there
will be no deal at all. But isn't that the way of all negotiations?
Instead of working out what sort of deal will benefit both parties, it
is a case of one one-upmanship.
What we need, according to Trump and the British Conservatives, is
European Security led by the UK against the Russians, with the USA
paying less into NATO, and looking after America First, whilst every one
else makes a contribution to NATO to protect US interests in Europe, in
the UK and in the Middle East, including isolating and destroying the
Syrians, the Palestinians and Iran and supporting Egypt, Saudi Arabia in
the Yemen. All part of the strategic interests of putting the USA first...
What we really need is a better and bigger National Health Service to
take more care of the old and elderly amongst us. Adam Smith would have
turned in his grave at the antics of the present Conservative
philosophies which try to justify their subsidies to private enterprise
and entrepreneurs, with our lovely tax breaks and support of off shore
tax havens, and allowing wealthy people to purchase UK citizenship on a
graduated scale from £1 million to £10 million for early citizenship and
residence. And subsidising large corporations through workers tax
breaks and giving state allowances to companies to continue
"subsidising" under paid workers.
Of course, like in the USA it is all the fault of the Russians and
Vladimir Putin. They are the ones to blame. If it wasn't for them and
their takeover and control of the US elections, turning the average US
citizen into a zombie, then we would all be better
off...blah...blah...blah...
