It is amazing how easy it can be to find an address. One just types the
keywords "What is the address and telephone number of the Iranian
Mission in Vienna" and Abracadbra...up it comes. One can even get
access to telephone numbers of various people and can phone them up to
make an appointment. One could even do this way back at the beginning
of the 21st century.
Amazing research tool, the internet and Google or other search engines,
when used with the minimum of intelligence and thought. Now why didn't
the CIA and their agent in Vienna think of that...
Wrapping up secret plans in newspapers and dropping them through the
letter box indeed...
One couldn't make it up.
I do like it when the US government prosecutes its agents and reporters
who are alleged to be giving away the nations secrets and jeopordising
the lives of agents abroad. One can see why they don't like doing
it...All that evidence of top level, high intelligence,being made
public, all that well thought out tradecraft being revealed. I dare say
that the rest of the world is learning from their mistakes and NOT
following their example...but such is the logic of human beings, that
one never knows...
