Ah, okay. Cool. So that's why I've managed to dodge that Mould phlem thing a few times now. Also Titan HM seems a lot better with the stuff - usually I know when I'm going to be hit and it's because I didn't start moving until the puddle appeared. I also wonder if this has made a different to the DoT damage. Although if so, it would be miniscule. @Kahn - you got through Titan HM with your Monk? I probably won't be running anything until I'm back in CT, so my tank isn't going anywhere. Man, I really need to start running coil more often... Basically in the past the game would only check your position/status every 300ms. So if you're in an AoE that lasts 500ms, and you exit it after 350 ms, you'll get hit regardless of where you are onscreen because when the server checked, you were still in there (the next check would only be at 600ms). Same with things like heals etc. If you couple your ping time (200+ ms for us), it's easy to see why dodging some AoEs on reaction was nigh impossible (like Moldy Phlegm in WP, Fire Water in Darkhold etc). The game would also let you cast spells on dead chars because it didn't update their status in time. They also removed the hitbox checks for AoEs. As long as your char's center is out of the AoE in time for the server check, you wouldn't get it. That's good news. I thought they were only doing that for PvP. ________________________________ The information in this e-mail is confidential and may be legally privileged.
