Okay, so you can swy out of it, counter one of the moves if you have a counter,
duck the 12 at the start, use an auto ss move, or side walk it.
That doesn’t sound broken in any way. It sounds like a move where there are
specific counters to it.
Now if it was NRS, they’d already have patched it before people bothered
learning to side walk.

There's a vid of devil jin in t7 spamming 1234 1234 123 1234 string and there's
literally nothing you can do about it (unless your character have auto ss moves
or sway). The only answer was to ss it. But now you can't...it's also +on block
too.

The player was purposely doing it to show how bad ss is in t7. luckily side
walk is still ok.

then why are they nerfing ss in t7?

t5 ss was fine. t5dr was fine. vanilla t6 ss was fine. t6br ss was ass (rise of
nonsense like jack6 df2 homing...bob's d1), ttt2 and ttt2u buffed ss to t5 days
and now t7 nerfed ss again? unless t7 is secretly going to be TxSF...i don't
see why they should nerf ss...if nobody was complaining about it in ttt2.

Namco says they want to pull in new players with the changes they made for
t7...but by nerfing ss won't pull in new players...

Yeah, but where the hell do they get their ideas about what the fans want? It’s
only really the competitive players giving feedback. I’ve never come across a
post anywhere with a scrub complaining about movement screwing them up. I’ve
come across loads of complaints about nerfed movement, but nothing saying
movement is Tekken was too stong.

If all they care about is the sales, then they just need to hype the game
through the roof and hope for massive amounts of month one sales. That doesn’t
have to interfere with building a game that the competitive scene likes.

One of the issues about Tekken is that they tend to cater to "fans" rather than
the competitive scene...and even so, some of the competitive players prefer to
buff their character with no logic and nerf everyone else so they can scam
their way to victory with cheap shit. eg. nerfing ss because "fans" + scrubs
can't deal with their moves wiffing all the time. slowed down CH or trade hits
and dumbing down throw break...

In a business profit perspective...it makes sense to cater to "fans" because of
the larger number. And losing a few competitive players won't bother them as
long "fans" are buying their games.

Anyways, T7 still looks good. Top players will adapt (unless the game is really
trash like T4 lolz). My only concern is the non-KO slow mo cam. It messed up
the momentum of the game too much. Otherwise, the changes they made from TTT2U
to T7 is fine by me. I automatically got buffed from dumbing down throw break
hahaha

Who the heck has time to memorize how close you need to be to land demo man.

Why should I not be allowed to deathfist from anywhere on screen ? If Ryu can
fireball from anywhere then so should paul.

Instead of going through the labours of learning all of Lei's stances they
could swap the stances out for unique kung fu costumes that give off special
aura effects.

We need a Dota2 character in Tekken.

It's rubbish that a guy can hit you with a low move when you are just standing
there blocking ~ Namco must fix this because how must I know when to duck ?

No matter how well you can play with Kung Lao you will still be playing MKX.
I saw some T7 tekken crash ~ It took about 15 minutes for me to see a sidestep.

Yoh Salie, how did things go last night after your misfortune? You get sorted?
There was an ADT dude driving about, I got his attention and told him about
your situation. He was there because someone phoned to complain about
shady-looking individuals in the street you were parked in.

@Paas
Epic matches yesterday dude. :)
