I wonder about the direction. One of the mainstays of the FF series has been 
that it’s not a hyper-realistic game. There is no blood and gore and, as they 
mentioned in the article, war is more a backdrop for the story, rather than any 
gritty reality.
FF9 wasn’t gritty and it’s not like the game suffered for the lack of it.

Meh, I suppose I’m just wondering why we need gritty reboots of everything 
around.

Sadly the FF series had kinda drifted off course since 10, so I guess a change 
might not be a bad thing.

The game is awesome no doubt, I still disagree with Squeenix's decision of

Will do some reading first to see if it runs fine...  but I will most likely 
get the PS3 version from the US acc.
Since sadly my KB/Stick hybrid thingy doesnt function properly on PS4.

Will get the PS4 version at some point when not forced to use gamepad/stick.
