horachio wouldn't lie From: alasdair.donaldson@xxxxxxxxxx To: cpt-fgc@xxxxxxxxxxxxx Subject: RE: CTS community mail Date: Tue, 25 Nov 2014 12:40:30 +0000 You trust stuff you see on CSI? Their ‘science’ is shoddy at best. I remember watching an episode where they mentioned that a person was safe from lightning in their car because of the rubber tires. Sigh. Anyways, not sure about the maggots. It seems to be a point of contention as to whether the maggots are (inadvertently) causing the surrounding tissue to rot as well and then eating that, or whether they do actually eat live tissue as well. Regardless of the choice, maggots in a wound will cause the wound to increase in size, even on live subjects. Not cheating. http://www.foxnews.com/health/2014/11/24/doctors-remove-50-maggots-from-mans-nose/ Not the first article about anti-maggot surgery that I’ve read this week. I thought they only ate necrotic tissue. Guess not. No idea how the tournaments work. Do people play on their own machines and everyone just uses the honour system about not using mods? I mean assuming that they’re undetectable.
