The "50s-cdn" and "50s-usa" lists have been expanded to cover the same
topics but from the 1800's to the apprximate 1961 cutoff date of the
previous list. The pevious name, "Circa 50s (Americana or Canadiana)
Modellers/Collectors list" has also been changed to "50s and Before
(Americana or Canadiana) Modellers/Collectors list" The message tags are
now changed to "50sNB4cdn" or "50sNB4usa" to reflect the expanded timeline.
The 1950's and Before Americana Modeller/Collector's List is
a mailing list devoted to the exchange of information among
people wanting to develop a source of accurate American
data to reproduce the flavour of transportation, etc. prior to
the late 50's era in model form and/or to collect memorabilia
from those eras. As well, the list provides a forum for
modellers and collectors of memorabilia to just discuss "what
was." Timeline for the list will be from the 1800s til about
1961
A separate list mirroring this list is available for those
modelling/collecting the Canadian eras prior to late 50's
