Subject: [cpsig] Re: Royal Hudson
If a decent running Royal Hudson were to become available in N scale I
would take two and I know another guy who would take one for sure. I
started scratch building one but it's very slow going. Then a friend
of mine who always seems to be in the know (manufacturers often
consult with him regarding accuracy on some things)told me that if it
was going to take me more than about two years to complete it, it may
be worth waiting. To which I replied WHAT, WHAT, WHAT? He wouldn't
(couldn't) tell me more though. Has anyone else got any info on this
possibility of an N scale Royal Hudson becoming available?
PS, to the fellow who was attempting to make fun of Americans: Learn
to spell before you slam someone. It only makes you look like a fool.
To the Americans: Sorry.

Reply: Craig,
The N scale Royal Hudson will probably come out by the time I get around to
painting Mine which will pull 7 or more ancient Lima heavy weights on MT
wheels up 3.5% grades on my layout. Hans Starmans custom built mine with DCC
decoder installed. It runs as smoothly as a Swiss Watch. If anyone is
serious
about owning one let me know. I'll give you his address.
Mine would have been painted a couple of years ago had there been decals or
dry transfers available. If a commercial one comes out, I'll buy one. A
Royal Hudson car set would also be nice in N scale.
