To the best of my knowledge and recollection, none of the C-Liners were repainted after the action red scheme was adopted.
They were starting to look a little shabby by the time the last of them were retired in 1975.

I was unclear. What I meant was that I thought that some of the C-Liners were painted in Tuscan after the introduction of Action Red. Thus in theory, they should have been painted action red, yet instead were painted in Tuscan after the official introduction of Action red.

Didn't some of the FM C Liners get repainted in Maroon and Grey in 1969 or 70?
