I wasn't going to mention anything on the subject because I don't
know much, but all the CP Ice Breaking cars I've ever seen were
rebuilt from 40' steel box cars. Assuming these cars were new in the
30's or 40's, wouldn't they have been built to protect observation
domes and not autoracks? They would seem right at home behind E/F
units on The Canadian more than anywhere else..
