There is another photo which shows more of the yard and you can see a fellow
standing at the switch which is ahead of 8906. Obviously waiting to throw
it. (photo 258869) It is taken a minute or two after the first one as the
train in the background has moved further down the track. If you don't want
to believe it is a working locomotive, so be it, but I have seen nothing in
any of these photos to suggest otherwise. In another photo of 8906 in the
yard the cab window is closed. In these two the cab window is open. 8906 is
in different locations in the yard in both photos. It looks like the
engineers hand is on the arm rest in one photo.
