CP never placed coal capacity on tenders; only oil and water.
According to G5 lettering diagram H-53-L-815 Rev. A it was like so…
Engine number
8000 Gals
The engine number is maximum 2’3” wide and 3’8” up from the tender frame. The
engine lettering is 5” high.
The tender capacity lettering is 2” high and 2” below the engine number.
