I just got an e mail from Dan at Rapido trains thanking me for the heads up re the Canadian blueprints they have copies of the blueprints allready . I am very interested to see what Rapido comes out with for the Canadian. They bring out such detail and accuracy especially the Turbo I know its the other railroad but I did a lot of photography of the train when it was running. That was a tough job getting a day with proper light good location and you had one chance to shoot it a real challenge . I did my favorite picture of the Turbo it was crossing the Rideau Canal at Kingston Mills In the fore ground were boats locking thru the locks there . It was such a picture of contrasts its somewhere in the files I think . So I was really interested to see it as a model however I stick to 1950,s modeling so its the Canadian for this guy regards David Hill

Hi I sent Jason the information but I realized he would have this
information long ago before he ever spent a fortune advertizing  "THE
CANADIAN" . He has not announced an after 1992  Via Canadian because he
didn,t have detailed drawings of the modifications done by Bombardier to
modernize the cars . Knowing Mr Shron he either now has those drawings or is
in hot pursuit of them. Now January of 2008 I e mailed Jason  re building
the Canadian  he sent me a very detailed e mail why it was maybe later
project , At the time he was thinking maybe 3or 4 years away . Well
fortunately  for us he has got the ball rolling  regards Mr Soapbox  David

Neat and thanks for the link.

Wonder if Jason Shron knows about this?

Hello all,

Surfing around Ebay, came across a listing for a set of blueprints for the
Canadian.

Maybe someone in the SIG is interested.  Hope the link works.  If it
doesn't, just search Canadian Pacific at ebay.com.
