Yes, that's the peaked pilot. Looks like 2859 also had the pilot replaced
at some time too.
Looking at the model photos of 2863 on the Central Hobbies website, I
see it has the flanged stack, but the rounded pilot.
2863 is an H1e. It had the stack replaced with a flanged at one time. It
was the only one of its class like that.

an H1d or H1e if I have to, as I think I know where I can get my hands
on an appropriate coal tender.
The standard 12 wheel tender shows up in a store from time to time. If you
want to be picky then you need to find a tender from the H1d run, which is
much more difficult to locate. Not impossible but you'll have to be more
patient. If you're willing to live with the tender handrail differences
between a Royal Hudson and a standard 12 wheel tender then you're on the
way.
