Plow or Melter? We did have a jet engine on a hirail truck drying out a crossing in Canmore a couple of years back. Sure was noisy! Last I remember it was stored in Lake Louise.

Paul who has now moved further west to Lake Cowichan sadly sans live rail.

Hi Everyone,

The CPHA Executive receives all sorts of questions and request for information from students, authors, researchers and museums. Sometimes we can answer them and sometimes we just go I dunno?.

Heres one from a museum ï¿½

Would anyone have some information on the jet powered snow plows? Like, when did they went into service and are they still in service. Any technical info details?

Thanks,
