With thanks to Bruce Chapman, who sent another copy of the list, here are the
steam tenders used for water service. Questions arise when comparing this list
to OSAL's
Series III list in "Canadian Pacific Steam Locomotives". e.g.. some of the
4-4-0s never lost their four digit 70-- number in Omer's list and there is no
189 in his Series III. Another possibility is that they are Series II numbers
in some cases.
The first number is the service car number and the second is the locomotive it
came from.

I have a photo of one of these in a work train at Bowmanville in June, 1962. No
number was applied and the steam loco lettering was still on the tender. This
was a D10 type tender with a coupler replacing the drawbar and a hand brake on
the front end.
Does anyone know if the number and the word "Service" was placed on these
tenders?
