Mr. Webber and his wife relocated to Victoria some years ago and may have passed on by now. Unfortunately, I don't have a copy of the book, but I was acquainted with Bernard Webber and remember when he wrote it. Mr. Webber was a scholar (school teacher by profession, I think), one-time MLA and generally well-known in the south part of the Okanagan Valley. I think that in all probability, the book will be well researched.

I just came across a book, in a garage sale, titled Silk Trains by
Bernard Webber. Anyone know about this book and how accurate and
authoritative it is? Webber's address listed in the book is Osoyoos, BC
and it looks like he published the book himself.
